It was a pretty good bike, but most importantly it was my companion for over 2 years... I'm not dealing with it particularly well,so I wanted to vent.
That sucks comrade. How great it would be to build a society where no one was so desperate that they have to steal bicycles
my dad biked to work in his 50s both because he was poor but also to stay in shape. he had so many bikes stolen from him in those ten years. he kept investing in better and better bike locks. One day they just took the front wheel and nothing else. he never found out who was doing it.
The sucks, sorry you have to deal with this comrade. sending you all the good vibes!
Your bike got stolen recently? You must have been pretty bummed about it. But I think whoever stole it was probably happier to get it than you are sad to lose it. The total happiness in the world increased.
Yeah no that's bullshit. Otherwise it wouldn't be common to find ruined bikes magnet fishing.
You steal someone's bike for long-term transport, and you're always running the risk of getting your ass beat if the original owner ever sees it.
i knew this was bound to get posted the moment i read the title
if you have homeowners insurance or renters insurance you can maybe use that to get a replacement. we did it once
also we replaced it with one that can fold up into a backpack. it wont be winning the olympics but it wont get stolen
