Glad I never got into HP; bounced on my boys dick to this fact for about five hours. The thing about there being like a subrace of specials that are essentially different from the ordinary poo people, and glorifying/romanticizing/mystifying English boarding schools were always off-putting even before people started to talk about the more bigoted aspects.
