wherein we post our favorite treats.

i've been getting Hi-Chew candies from the store recently, they're pretty good. an improvement on the starburst style candy in basically every way.

Lately I've gone full old man mode and been eating traditional hard candy. My favorite so far is Herman The German's Bavarian Herbal Assortment.

Spam. Something about stealing canned food is more satisfying to me. I need to FUCKING STOP lmao, the salt is INSANE. It's almost entirely LARD. I know those pigs can't be living well.

Mainly because I was living without a kitchen or even a fridge, but did have a microwave, and it's delicious nuked on a pyrex plate then added to nuked potatoes. But now I've finally got a fridge so I'm eating a bit more fresh. A lot of canned food is downright unpalatable lol. In particular, soup tends to be vile and contain almost zero nutrients, unlike any soup I've ever made at home.

    aww yiss I love hi-chews

It's a mainstream choice but my fav little treat is Pocky. I like that it's not as sweet as the average American candy bar, so the flavor is chocolatey and cookie-y but kinda subtle. Plus anything you can eat in stick form is good.

There is nothing more satisfying than some thick black beans with rice, I like to put a little bit of melted tomato and onion sauce in the beans after they finish cooking, spices pop out more when fried and added via the sauce

i'm just another hog that will down multiple bags of tater chisps in a single sitting, but when i'm feeling Healthy(TM) i've discovered that you can buy frozen fruit and berries for fairly cheap. either put it in the microwave for a while or enjoy the innate anti-binge mechanism of freezing temperatures

I eat so many potatoes lmao, you can just crisp them in the oven if you feel bad about eating frozen fries/bagged chips (not sure what you mean). I find the best anti-binge mechanism is actually protein powder. It's almost impossible to eat after filling up on protein.

I think you read my "fruit" as "fries" lol. i included the chips (=crisps:ukkk:) part (which is true) so my post didn't seem as condescending :very-smart::im-vegan:

Florida could grow cocoa beans if they just tried. I hope they eventually do because some old school dark chocolate makes my day better.

I used to like peanut m&m's until somehow I got :brainworms: from europeans talking about how american chocolate tastes like vomit because of that one acid in it, now I can't un-taste it. :rage-cry:

Actual answer: there's a variety of kettle brand chips that are truffle oil flavored and they're hands down my favorite
