Anyways, I have dealt with people like this irl and they don't really hate the church, they just hate the fact that the church isn't full fash. I can say for certain that if the church advocated for killing Muslims, minorities, homosexuals, leftist and so, they would be all around it calling it based, sacred or whatever.

I used to know a guy from Venezuela that had the same advanced brain worms as the guy in the tweet. There is definitely a sector that hates the church, but I don't think that makes them less right-wing, many of them still hate homosexuals, are traditional, etc. I can see where you are getting tho, you have a point.
