Don't care, wasn't gonna watch anyway lol. Tapped out when they removed the FALGSC from Trek - like at least DS9 had actual critique of the Federation beyond "what if they're MAGA now?"
It was the removal of post scarcity and the incredibly tired cliche of “the old ally that hates me now because of past mistakes, but I have to convince them to trust me again” schtick that bounced me right the fuck off. Part of TNGs strength was the massive respect all the characters had for one another, even in disagreement. Here comes the new stuff, and o would you look at that, everyone hates Picard and is super shitty to him and one another…how fun.
