      Which is absolutely braindead writing to begin with. Why would a civilization that had achieved post-scarcity need sentient slave androids? Presumably they've had automation to handle all the drudging and dangerous jobs for centuries, why would you need to create beings who are aware of their suffering and peril?

      Part of me thinks that all of this is very intentional. Look at how much this site loves TNG and DS9, there is absolutely no way I'd have ever become a communist without these shows. I bellieve there is a concentrated effort to ruin these franchises because they are a path to the left
