    It's so weird that fashion is completely arbitrary and contextual. I think the two left hats are among the silliest things on Earth but the hat on the right looks cool as hell.

      The two left hats look like something a one-episode-alien-species on Star Trek would wear, and I can't stop laughing. I kind of love it for that.

      Am I glad that militaries generally moved towards the right style of hat - or do I prefer the right style of hat because it's the one militaries used while I was growing up?
