how is management supposed to sexually harass staff and steal their breast milk if they're all working from home? checkmate libs
while my comment is framed as humorous, this is only as a coping mechanism in the light that yes, i do except nothing but the worst from the company that sexually harassed an employee into suicide
Commies don’t understand incentives. How else will managers do their jobs?
I would not be surprised if these psychos power fantasies arent fulfilled through zoom
end work from home to save managers time driving to each workers house everytime they want to sexually harass people
"I've never been as embarrassed by leadership" -Employee of company with history of rampant sexual misconduct among leadership
He has worked at Blizzard for a year or less. The 10 years in the industry includes working at Arkane, Gunfire, and NetherRealm
“I never thought the predatory company would come for me!”
ah, good shit. "i came on after all the abuse and sexual harassment was made public! i'm innocent!"
What a poor choice of words in light of years of abuse, crunch, and harassment.
This article isn't even a year old at this point. (CW: suicide)
The assumption is that these are supposed to be the new, better people in charge
i will eat my boss while singing the internationale in between gulps if he makes me come back in to the office
Bro just buy this $30 premium panda wizard edition so you can skip 500 levels and get to the good stuff(tm)
That's one that really gets me mad. If the "Good stuff™" is locked behind X number of levels why are they even there? From a design standpoint it's unforgiveable in my book to make a player wait to have fun. Sure some things require learning/teaching the player or whatever, usually that a fun process in and of itself when done properly. Whenver I hear the "good stuff™"/"the real game starts at ...™" I just stop playing all together. I'm not interesting in playing lesser game in hopes that the supposed greater game that awaits is worth my time. The early game, mid-game, and late-game should all be fun rewarding games to play.
The sheer amount of bloat, filler, and fluff in modern games (and MMOs speifically) really shows how gaming has utterly lost the plot.
It's wild how they've done everything they can to ensure a player can hit max level without talking to another human player even once.
It is such a hilariously short sighted move on the part of Blizzard.
Especially because Irvine specifically is such an expensive area
Blizzard doesn't exist - it's just a brand name owned by Activision now. Every single person who made Warcraft, Starcraft and so on is long gone. Every single one.
As long gone as the cool people who made games for the Atari 2600.
OW has a monthly count of 24 million players but I assume they're still riding on the new release wave. Fortnite has a monthly count of 80 million, Minecraft has 140.
Leaderships goal is to get the money now, as they plan to golden parachute when Microsoft takes over.
Right now none of their existing games seem to be geared towards onboarding a new audience
They are trying to do this entirely with marketing. They have a really heavy focus on tiktok marketing right now but I don't really think it's working out for them.
given your handle, i can't even ding you for this one
I never understood the “entitled worker” complaint. Is that not the free market in play? One side demanding something, so you either supply it and they stick with your company, or you don’t supply it and they find the supply elsewhere.
Remember when people said if Trump wins I'm moving to Canada? (and then nobody did, because Canada has actually strict immigration laws). This is the same thing. They're threatening the worst thing that they can imagine: denying you their presence.
Seriously, they really do think of themselves this highly.
If it were a different job I’d say you’re being an ass, but considering all the examples of tech workers protesting and demanding stuff only for the ceo to say :bugs-no: and then everything goes back to normal the next day, yeah you’re right
