But there's no way this will be better than the Jackson films. And they probably won't do Tom. It would be wild if they made Two Towers and Return of the King more faithful to the books in that the battle sequences are very short. But I doubt that.

New Line and Warner Bros Animation are currently in production on the anime film, The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, the story of which is set 183 years before the events in The Lord of the Rings. The movie, which tells the fate of the House of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary King of Rohan, is set to open theatrically on April 12, 2024.

This, however, I am really into. The only way to accurately depict Helm Hammerhand is with an anime. Beating orcs in the snows with his bare hands for days on end is anime material.

    Also unless the Tolkein estate has massively reversed their position, they still can't use any Tolkein material outside of LOTR and the Hobbit. So I'd expect if there's any changes, they will be firmly against the lore.
