      Every time i hear anything about One Piece, it sounds incredibly based, but the manga is like over 1000 issues and it's not even completely finished.

        when i was in middle school (early 2000s), it started coming out in the states in Shonen Jump. I remember falling in love with it, and going to the library so I could read the japanese-translated scans. I remember getting to around chapter 150 or so, and realizing that there were already probably almost 200 more to catch up to japan, and i promply gave up.

        I love that its still going, and every now and then I'm curious about what's happening, but god you will not catch me reading 1000 chapters of that now.

        watch the anime dubbed at 1.5x - 2x speed, and just leave it in the background

        all that means is that you have a fallback for lazy days/nights that will last potentially years

      That's also a good lesson, you should give 100% of what you're capable of, which for the start of the show is barely 5%, but he still can do a whole bunch of good with just that "little" compared to almight, imo its actually a great example not to overextend yourself
