People get it.

We should be on the ground uniting town folk. Against the capitalist economic structure for which bribery is both at the center of how our elected government officials get into office and how they react or don’t to these situations.

Norfolk Southern Pinkerton motherfuckers on the ground literally running the show in all ways. From what and when roads are open to where one is allowed to walk. To say nothing of the corrupt toxin-collecting sample company being given jurisdiction of evidence collecting.

Potentially a very big radicalizing moment. Which of course is why the MSM, if they touch it at all, will avoid at all costs discussing the fundamental nature of this as a continued result of Profit > People.

Even the rail workers want to nationalize.

I think when explained to them they’d agree socialism makes the most sense - just like it did to their radical heartland ancestors that they don’t know about because we never learn our history. No matter how much it’s a dirty commie plot to get them to become gay, not speak English and play soccer.
