yeah i cant keep my feet flat throughout the exercise movement, but when you get below 90° you just... nestle your knees in and roll back on your feet a bit?
that said, I can't do a single pullup these days, surely this isn't an indicator of lifestyle and is instead directly attributable to my racial makeup
In my experience as a very sedentary whitey, that just doesn't work. I'd fall on my back if I tried resting in a deep squat.
Pull-ups are hard though, most adults can't do even one. Regardless of where in the world you are. The muscles used are ones most people don't need to use often, and lifting 100-200 pounds can be tough even with muscles you do use often.
