She's grabbing stuff close to the ground, no shit there's gonna be little rocks and large particulate in there, if you grab fresh snow from the top only all you're gonna ingest is microplastics and other fine particulate

If it's dust and dirt floating around in the air anyway aren't you constantly inhaling that shit?

I wonder if the different types of dirt have an impact on the flavor. I want to be a sommelier for snow.

    Snow Ice Cream

    Snow Ice Cream

Fill a large metal bowl with about 8 cups of freshly fallen snow. Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla and stir until combined.

You may need to add more snow to get a nice creamy consistency. Add snow until you’ve gotten your desired consistency.

I eat snow not because I don't think the dust particulates won't hurt me, but because I hope the microplastics will.

When I was a kid there was a really bad blizzard. Killed the power. We had to boil snow on a propane stove to get water. It was pretty rough. I got a crash course in winter survival that year. We used a coffee filter to get the junk out. The trad idiots that want a rural life don't remember that without power you can't pump from your well. No lights, no heat, no water. Have fun, fuckos.

Edit: we were lucky to have some 19th century oil lamps lol, we had burned through most of the candles. Those things are pretty cool.

Doesn't this shit all sink to the bottom once you boil it? Aren't there filters and stuff for hikers travelling multiple days?
