I find the liberal psychoanalysis of Putin’s height really funny. The implication is that Putin is invading and authoritarian because he’s insecure of his short height, but Zelensky is democratic and fair because he’s secure and confident with his short height.

That, or they’re just assholes who don’t think about their insulting analyses beyond Putin Gay and Short and Fat and Bad

My mom saw ßome BBC documentary that said Stalin was very insecure because he was short, and that's why he was a baddy. I pointed out that he seemed pretty confident and decisive when it mattered, and she agreed.

It does have a powerful ring to it. No more worker wars or no more war between workers could be a socialist version.

I had a growth spurt when I was 15, but I still thought of myself as short for like a decade after. As it turns out, inaccurate. Very inaccurate. Also there were like 3 tall people at my university of 28000, according to my metric. ><

Body mechanics do be like that.

As a tall guy, I can squat deep just fine with no load, because my lower back can flex/round and it isn't an issue with just my bodyweight being supported by two legs. But as soon as I try to squat under load with a single leg only or weights which requires keeping a rigid/braced torso to prevent injury it becomes impossible to squat deep. Like the video shows, I become a pretzel lol.

I (largely) have anime body proportions. Large head, short torso, long legs, funny hair.

I basically have real life slenderman body proportions lmao. Tall and skinny, super long torso, long arms, "short" legs but with long femurs and short shins. It's getting better as I bulk up and exercise thankfully, no longer unhealthily skinny.

Ik we're joking but 5'7 isn't even particularly short. The average American man is 5'9, the average Russian/Ukrainian man is 5'10. 2-3 inches below average is a little bit short, just like 5'11 is a little bit tall (yet the latter doesn't get called tall nearly as often as the former gets called short). I think most people have a distorted idea of height, plus world leaders are usually on the taller side
