Oh man. I had a friend who had that. It took his life about a decade ago. He led a very full life despite being heavily affected by it. As time went on he lost more and more motor skills. I am ashamed to say that I lost contact with him in the later years of his condition.

Elon takes the opportunity to make him dance like a monkey for his job, when the initiating question is about how fucking weird it is that he can't figure out if he's been laid off or not.

I kinda thought pics or I'd didn't happen was evergreen. Not the way Musk is using it cause that doesn't make sense.

it is evergreen, but evergreen things have to start somewhere, and this one started on /b/, the authentic home of the internet tall tale as well as the internet eyeroll

People just love to ignore the clear difference between "able to type for short periods at a time" and "able to type for 8 hours a day."

I make food for 8 hours a day and would consider typing for that long more grueling. At least I'm moving around and doing different tasks

Thanks! Feels even nicer tonight which was totally dead from when I started at 3 until 8. We close at 9. We had 2 tables totalling 4 people between 3 and 7, 2 takeout orders that were easy peasy at 7 and then when there was less than an hour to close and we had done all closing stuff aside from mopping and turning off ovens and stuff and had made some nice snacks for out front and we were all just stealing drinks from the bar and having a good time waiting it out, it got busy. Our last order came in 5 minutes to close and was online so they couldn't just say no about it, our online thing is fucked and let's people pick up takeout orders after we're closed. They wanted a pasta, 2 salads and 4 pizzas so we had to re open and then re clean and close every station for this one asshole. They got everything made wrong enough to be bad but not enough to say it's wrong in any way, just like, say one got topped with Chilli honey and I drowned that shit and also I just made one the pizzas the wrong kind but an easy mistake way and since the kitchen had been closed and we were gone when they came to get it, there would be fuck all they could do.

It's so disingenuous too. Like, it's not that hard to understand that a person might be able to to something for a short while but still need an accommodation for doing something long term.

Haraldur is a genuinely good guy, or at least is always trying to do the right thing.

When he sold his company to Twitter he made sure to get paid in krónur so that he would get taxed in Iceland. He's offered to pay for libel lawsuits against people who were publically denouncing a suspected molester who used his fame as a singer to get to teens. He spearheaded a campaign to set up wheelchair ramps at every public building in Reykjavík. He was voted as person of the year in most media in Iceland that has such a thing.

While we all know that the fabulously wealthy as a rule are never "good", he is perhaps a sample of what can happen when someone who hasn't had his empathy hollowed out by greed and affluence happens upon a considerable amount of money.

This is a prime example on how self destructive the modern reactionary mindset is because this guy asks a simple question and Elon responds with pointless hostility

United States is sickly country with a decent percent of the population having multiple illness. I don’t wish this on nobody, but likely of some these people mocking his disability will end up becoming disabled themself one day.

When Elon gives up on Twitter, he should switch it up and be a crash test dummy for his electric shopping trolley cars. And by crash test dummy, I mean being tied to a wall and have a car driven into him. For science.

Figma: the collaborative interface design tool.

With Figma, everyone works towards a shared goal. This has enabled our product teams to ship new products faster and feel more confident in their decisions.

Elon: "what the fuck is a collaborative?"
