It would be extremely funny if this is how the US breaks it's support for Ukraine somehow. Blaming the Ukrainians and throwing them under the bus once defeat looks inevitable to give angry Europeans a scapegoat and themselves an easy out since they "attacked our dear and respected ally and went too far"
I wonder if they would truly turn against Ukraine or hold some lingering resentment towards them. This whole war has been sold to the Europeans pretty hard with I think Denmark treating the Zelensky plea for arms like some kind of Marvel event.

I need more ammunition” when he was told an armed escort arrived to pick him up. They lauded him as a brave leader who stands his ground and will sink with the ship if necessary.
