Christ I'm drooling in longing to experience the Schadenfreude of screwing a landlord out of their unearned, cold hard cash.
I'm pretty hyped to leave my current place and have the landlord company try to dangle my deposit over me. I got a deal when I moved into this place years ago that I only had to put $100 down. The entire office staff has turned over so they won't know until they look.

I would think carefully before concreteing the drains. Depending on how the law works in that jurisdiction there's a decent chance you'd end up having to pay for all the damages.
Yeah, in my state anything that's considered the tenant's fault is on the tenant to fix. Which includes any plumbing issues.
