    People that believe that they are too smart to be manipulated by it are more susceptible to it.

    The way westoids associate the AES countries with the concept of propaganda is certainly a case of every accusation being a confession. While countries like East Germany certainly had their government messaging in public spaces it was nothing compared to the avalanche of advertising you were and are subjected to in the west. The soviets may have had their flaws but at least they didn't force you to look at a picture of Stalin while taking a dump.
