My friends and I damn near wore the vhs tape out on this one. Rewinding again and again to watch the fight in the arcade. That and the ladder fight from First Strike.
I love when he busts out the ski and starts smacking dudes, the choreography is so good. They really don't make 'em like they used to. No green screens. No cgi. Clever camera angles instead. The glory days. I'm gonna go yell at a cloud with the rest of the old men lol.
In addition to his stunt work, what made Chan's movies so endearing is that he's clearly just a dude, not some superman like Bruce Less was. When Jackie gets punched, he emotes the pain and you feel it as a viewer, it humanizes him and draws you more into the movie.
I totally agree. He could emote a lot with just his expressions and body language. The fight from "Wheels on Meals" will forever be a classic.
