Jonah's character is an adult cop who goes undercover as a highschooler along with Tatum's character. The movie has him, no joke, actually have a romance with a highschool girl while undercover. Other than him getting in brief trouble with her when the truth is revealed, as with all romances in comedies, how fucking weird that is is not addressed literally at all. The girl, played by Brie Larson, is completely dropped in the sequel I'm pretty sure.

But hey other than that pretty decent movie!
