It is Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night, which at least so far is easily the best series released this year. There's still 5 episodes left so it could still do a heel-face turn that retroactively ruins all of it, but as it is it's a cute, poignant, gorgeously animated show with a great soundtrack. I've been meaning to post about it but haven't gotten around to it.
It may or may not be yuri bait, though. The main characters are all very clearly queer, but it's still kind of dancing around actually dealing with that despite the story's themes being basically "fuck social scorn and fear, be who you want to be."
