Richard D. Wolff, born on this day in 1942, is a Marxist economist and author known for co-founding Democracy at Work and hosting Economic Update, a weekly series which discusses political and economic issues from a Marxist perspective.

Wolff is also Professor Emeritus of Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and currently a Visiting Professor in the Graduate Program in International Affairs of the New School University in New York.

In 1988, Wolff co-founded "Rethinking Marxism", a still running academic journal dedicated to Marxist analyses of economics, culture, and society. Among his other works are "Capitalism Hits the Fan" (2009) and "Democracy at Work: A Cure for Capitalism".

Wolff hosts the weekly 30-minute-long program, Economic Update, which is produced by the non-profit Democracy at Work, which he co-founded.

The New York Times dubbed Wolff "America's most prominent Marxist economist", and he is featured regularly in television, print, and internet media.

"If you lived with a roommate as unstable as this economic system, you would've moved out or demanded that your roommate get professional help."

If you are gonna buy an army. You can get a cheap 3D printer for the price of a big tank and have infinite armies

I have been into 40k since before 9/11 I have sold some of my stuff but I dont really need an army. I have more than enough stuff. Sometimes they release a really cool miniature and I dont mind buying that (even if its pricey). Its not a cheap hobby by any means but there are other hobbies that are very expensive as well like photography or skiing. Plus there are so many manufacturers of miniatures these days that you really dont "need" to buy Gamesworkshop ones. (unless you want to) and even then you can go to ebay and buy new stuff at 30-40% off if you are patient.

Not saying 3D printing isnt an option. I just wasnt sold on the quality of the prints I have seen so far. Im sure that has gotten better as well since the last time I checked though.

I started collecting Warhammer after high school. After spending 4 paycheques building a small army of orcs I decided it'd be cheaper to smoke pot. I gave them away the next day and bought my first glass pipe. I lost it 2 days later with a full bowl packed. I regret nothing.

That's what I would recommend. If you get an eligoo Mars or Saturn it is a little more fiddley but the quality is perfect. It's actually wild.
