Are capitalists just incapable of innooovating golf and adapting the native environment? Are their brains just entirely filled with grass?
Unironically, golf would go from "must be abolished" to "on thin ice" if it was all about fostering an appreciation for the local ecosystem. You could have desert golf, mountain golf, tropical golf, and it's just treated as a sport you play in a huge park.
But no, the nazi diddlers that like the sport have as much taste as they have respect for others.
ngl i'd be way cooler with golf if it wasn't just homogeneous grass everywhere all the time
Pretty sure it’s like this in mini golf and Mario. There are different themes and not just Suburbia
There's a such thing as 'sand green' golf.

Hell, they just switch to artificial in the article. Golf is about hitting the ball real good to get to the putt putt part.
On a weird level, I like that the legacy of a bunch of slave god-kings has been looted and reduced to a kitschy tourist attraction.
On the other hand, holy shit this is a disgusting waste of water.
I'd say driving ranges are also ok in moderation.
So basically you can have the individual parts of golf but not golf as a whole, lmao.
I'd say golf is acceptable if it uses local plants and if the people who live on or near the land being used for it want to do it.
I assumed this was AI art, but nope, it's right fucking there on Google Street View
My favorite dystopian pyramid pic is from the view from inside a Pizza Hut
when :xi-beard: greens large parts of the desert we all clap and cheer, but when :porky-happy: does it for a golf course everyone loses their minds :joker-troll:
Only worth it if you have to go in the pyramid and escape the mummy's curse on the 18th hole
I want to hit a golf ball off the top of the pyramid towards the course like a gigantic sized version of playing putt putt golf or something.
