    Is the whole "X other race looks homogeneous" just because the person claiming that doesn't have much experience with people of that race? E.g. a Ghanaian in relation to SEA people?

      Pretty much. I can tell 99% of Asian people apart, and I can tell black Americans apart from Ethiopians, though most of my exposure to hispanic people are Mexican Americans, so I can't tell them apart from other Latin Americans. I also can't tell the difference between a white American and a European until they start talking lol

      I'm a white dude who lived in Asia for years and now I have no trouble telling Asians apart, but at this point white people all look the same to me.

    Is that film actually good? I've only seen the final scene and it seemed so melodramatic.
