    South Carolina is just another domino in the Atlantic coast chain. Republicans used to enjoy overwhelming support straight up through Virginia, and middling support deep into Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and upstate New York. Now Virginia is firmly blue. North Carolina is trending blue. And Carolina's margins about on par with Georgia's.

    I have no idea where they're getting Oklahoma from. That state's deep red. But the GOP of 2020 is not the GOP of 1990. They've gradually lost control of the South. Biden polling even with Trump in Texas and leading him in Florida is not normal even in Dem wave years. Arizona, too.

    Hate Dems all you like, but this is looking like another 2008-style Blue Wave and for all the same reasons.
