I was gonna post the same thing. Utah, Wyoming and New Mexico will get involved too I bet. Utah might pop off first with the Great Salt Lake turning into the Aral Sea in the next 10 years.
My guess is that it’ll be another rancher/farmer situation that pits local militias/state police vs the feds like the 2014 Bundy standoff. Like, some farmer upstream in Nevada will “defy” a water ban that’s supposed to protect California almond farmers and it’ll escalate to violence
