I hear (white) libs and chuds talk about a civil war coming and I’m always asking what exactly they’re going to fight and die over. From where I’m sitting most of the ~60% of people in this country who are white don’t have enough differences between each other to war over. Are libs and chuds really going to battle to the death over Trump vs Robert Mueller and the rule of law? There’s no way. And I can’t see the libs going to war over lgbt rights.
The chuds I see calling for civil war are especially funny, because they’re all comfortable people. What, you’re going to give up your lifted truck and your nice house with central cooling and junk food to put on fatigues and march overland only to die in an artillery bombardment? It’s all just hot air.
Maybe if we get to the point where water is scarce or the like people will have something concrete to fight over. Even something like a race war, the people the fash would need to make up their armies are all too well-off to give up their lives of plenty. Things are going to need to get very, very bad before I could imagine a civil war happening.
when they say this they mean the army will come round up the lib politicians and do all the fighting while they get to put on a jackboot and enact their violent fantasies on their local subdivision.
