See this for actually in-depth reviews
I've seen an above average amount of Episode 1s this time around.
This is good, go watch.
Heavenly Delusion
Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch from Mercury S2
Enjoyable
Yuri is my Job!
The Dangers in My Heart
Kawaisugi Crisis [a shitpost but endearingly so]
Otaku Elf [it has product placement :agony-shivering:]
Mid
KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! [tbh I never cared much for Megumin]
The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far [generic af]
My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999
I hate the MC, but otherwise mid
I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too [incel power fantasy]
Skip and Loafer [the MC gives off young conservative member vibes}
The Legendary Hero is Dead!
Awful - So Bad It's Good
KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World [Hilarious Trainwreck, questionable views, quite horny]
Awful
My One-Hit Kill Sister [incest, horny, isekai]
Summoned to Another World for a Second Time [horrendously sexist MC and very boring. It was in fact the show that broke my resolve in watching most new releases.]
Mid
KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! [tbh I never cared much for Megumin]
Blasphemy.
Ending 2 is absolutely bonkers and really has me hype for eventual explanations for what aerial is.
i watched ep 2 of Lv999 Yamada-kun and i think it might do better than mid before its done. i will admit to being a softie for the genre tho
EDIT:
two things i watched that didn't make it on your list
Jigokuraku - Hells Paradise - this is the big new shounen manga adaptation this year, and will most likely go many seasons. i haven't read the source so can't tell you much except that it's MAPPA, eps 1 and 2 make a good impression if you are into the gritty bloody type of shounen (and are pretty incredibly gory if you don't)
Mashle: Magic and Muscles - watched this on a whim. haven't read the source. in a world with magic the MC has none, but is instead incredibly strong. its got the standard plot; he's been hidden in the forest by his father because people without magic are weeded out, but you can't keep an incredibly strong guy out of trouble forever, run in with the authorities, ends up enrolled in magic school. melodrama, action plot, physical comedy. also, a cop gets humiliated a few times for comedic effect in ep1 so :carlin-pog: overall good first impression, will see where it goes. oh, and i have a sneaking suspicion that it is gearing up to be a satirical parody of harry potter lmao
Only seen G-Witch, Demon Slayer and Hell's Paradise so far. Heavenly Delusion and Oshi no Ko are next on the list.
The episode 1 twist in Hell's Paradise, where the edgy nihilist OP protag is

actually the ultimate Wife-Guy
works a heck of a lot better than it should, and the deuteragonist is pretty cool herself. But imo the animation is pretty rough for a MAPPA outing.
Speaking of animation, Demon Slayer in 1 episode looks better than entire goddam movies lmao, pity it's a show for 14 year olds. (Not a knock against the show, it is what it is, but damn I really am starting to feel like I'm outgrowing the medium.)
Demon Slayer taking the 'she breasted boobily down the stairs' meme a bit too literally.😅
What's frustrating is that the show managed to stay well clear of unnecessary fanservice of its women characters, until now. You can practically hear the collective :awooga: going off.
Yeah, feels like they're trying to balance out baby-Nezuko. Or using her as an excuse to get away with it. Tbf, it was kind of a horny episode overall, the whole trying to bond through nudity got a laugh out of me.
G-Witch is cool! Also the Konosuba spinoff was a bit better expected
I've got big hopes for Oshi No Ko as I've been reading the manga from the beginning
E1 of the Konosuba spinoff was meh, but E2 was better.
Oshi no Ko E1 is movie length.
