Unless it’s a service animal, I don’t like when dogs are in public buildings. Tired of trying to buy food at the grocery store but having to dodge dogs and avoid stepping over their leashes. This anger is mostly directed at their owners as I’m skittish around dogs I don’t know.

    It's been blowing up lately, but there are some examples that go further back, like calling "scary people" psychotic, or generally using psychosis and psychopathy as synonyms. I'm sure there are other examples, this one just came to mind first.

      Tbf I think thats one of those things thats been going on for at as long as science has been made popular. For most ableist insults for example, they started out as scientific language that people started using until it was just always an insult, then they had to invent a new science word to sound fancier.
