    Summary is this ice structure falling apart is super bad because it's structural to a big ice shelf and will cause it to fall apart exposing orders of magnitude more surface area and triggering a far faster melt.

    before you freak out, ask a climate scientist about what will happen. i talked to an actual cl,imate scientist and he was nowhere near as doomer as people here are so just chill lol
