Are Nintendo modders masochists or something? Why aren't they hosting their stuff anonymously on some Russian or Chinese servers?
Parasocial relationship with Nintendo's public image as a feel good fun company?
Definitely would make sense that since they're not getting paid they're gunna' be more motivated by social praise and other factors.
Right? They are one chinese email address away from spitting in god's eye and they fumble the bag every time
Imagine being such a lib you think a giant corporation known for crushing art won't cursh your art because it is art.
Imagine this happening before the 20th century, like imagine Metastasio Ltd going after every opera composer of the 18th century. Or Goethe getting a copyright strike for Faust. Or Rossini getting shut down because of twin lawsuits by Beaumarchais's estate and Paisiello.
Actually, I take it back, that would. Hilarious to see thr old masters posting vlogs about getting demonitized
This idiot thinks that his small channel and the millions he makes is somehow going to make a dent in Nintendo's position on something that is worth billions to them.
It's a classic issue, small guy becomes big guy and thinks he's important now but has absolutely no concept of how utterly insignificant he is in the bigger picture.
PointZero is an ant to Nintendo and they will absolutely crush him out of existence if they think he's a problem to them.
If I made money streaming content from one of the most litigious companies on earth, and they mostly left me alone, I would simply not provoke them, lol.
At the exact time when many content creators are gearing up for a massive influx of interest from fans and viewers ahead of the release of Tears of the Kingdom next month, Morino’s now weary of making content for the game at all, lest the arbitrary copyright claims continue. “This is a little scary because the precedent that they set with this case may apply heavily for their upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom,” he said.
I swear I see so many people use "weary" when they seem to mean "wary." What's up with that?
The same dysfunctional brainrot that makes people mix up 'lose' and 'loose'.
That's just English having bad spelling. People still pronounce them differently, unlike in the case of "weary".
It's because we also have the word "leery" which means more or less the same thing as wary.
Oh lol, I literally read that as “he’s tired of making videos because they keep getting demonetised”
Words with similar meaning and pronunciation often get conflated in language . This also happens with lay/lie and bought/brought.
