For this Saturday Anime Night, we’re starting off with Suzume (2022), the latest smash hit from auteur director Makoto Shinkai (Your Name, Weathering with You)! Good-quality rips just appeared in the last couple of days, so let’s watch. It’s another melodrama/romance about a high-school girl who stumbles upon magic powers. If you’ve watched any prior Shinkai works, you know what to expect. Excellent reviews for this one, and it’s already one of the highest-grossing anime films of all time, so we’re giving it a whirl. After that is the highly-anticipated honorary anime The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), which needs no introduction. Reviews for this are middling, but whatever, it’s Mario, you asked for it, we’re watching. Both rips of the movies tonight are telesyncs, meaning they’re not at Blu-ray rip quality, but they’re way better than regular camrips. Picture and audio quality are both good throughout, from what I can tell.
We’ll start at 10PM EST on Hextube, right here: https://live.hexbear.net/c/movies

Nope, not tonight. I’m more cautious with opsec for these films, since they are still in theatres.
Watch out, sometimes they nuke the accounts while the movies are uploading. Also, they seem to take longer to catch on when you replace the two account-trial videos over and over. Adding a third video seems to be like putting on the One Ring.
they got me after my first 2 on this one. the alternative solution is to switch to archive for as long as they're still around
just use a 10-minute email and VPN and make new accounts until you get past their swiss-cheese first pass and you're probably good for a few months after that.
