    It depends on how you look at it

    • It is AI as it's doing what you'd expect an AI to do for you
    • It isn't AI, as that is a term usually colloquially meaning artificial general intelligence i.e. displaying consciousness and ingenuity, which these do not display
    • It isn't AI from a computer science perspective because it isn't a learning agent

    I subscribe to the last one, though it's a more nuanced argument than that.
