      This seems like a genuine all sides thing. Libs will couch everything in neoliberal word salad, leftists will do what you describe (including saying everything is "neoliberal"), to your standard crank Republicans every criticism must use "woke" now, and your open fascists classically attribute everything to Jewish people.

      Now you can probably go by degree to see who's sanest, but tying your immediate criticism to a larger political product happens all over the place.

      Hexbear isn't known for being good at marxist theory and there was a wide variety of people and thoughts in the USSR, many positive before de-stalinization.
