    Requiring it and actually being able to verify it properly are very different things.

    Also subreddit mod removals don't actually delete the content from the servers. Just hide it from being listed in the subreddit. Things like the pushshift database archives include mod removals.

        Yes but in this case works in our favour since I have every single image ever uploaded to CTH thanks to that. They don't even delete the content from banned subreddits.

      I think if the user uploaded the image as a reddit gallery (not on imgur) then mod removals do make the image inaccessible, even on reddit's cdn.
