Yes but in this case works in our favour since I have every single image ever uploaded to CTH thanks to that. They don't even delete the content from banned subreddits.
I think if the user uploaded the image as a reddit gallery (not on imgur) then mod removals do make the image inaccessible, even on reddit's cdn.
I think r/PropagandaPosters should be a high priority, it is obviously not leftist but if you filter by AES countries you'll find some awesome stuff there.

I am targeting subreddits. Right now I've got a lot of the main ones but there's a lot of unusual names (me_ira) for example I could easily have missed.
I've just manually copied all images in this and grabbed a full page screen shot for the text. When it drops and it's needed give me a nudge and I can rebuild it.

I also don't think GenZhou had much image content? It was all questions/answers style I think.
imgur are in the process of deleting all content that was uploaded to imgur without a logged in user account. There are several parallel archive projects, I'm just personally making sure I have as many left subreddits archived as I can in case something happens.
