It's not even Steinbeck's best novel, nor it is his most preachy Lmao. This is surface-level understanding of literature because it feels like this person has never read anything with more depth than an airport book

    Hell yeah someone after my own heart. Steinbeck is my favorite fiction writer, and East of Eden is his best novel BY FAR
