    how will that result in a united Ireland though.

    As in what are Sinn Fein going to do to cause Britain to give up northern Ireland or more relevantly how are they going to convince southern Ireland to take them in which is the real factor as doing so would make southern Ireland significantly poorer.

      Britain and ROI are both still bound by the Good Friday agreement, so the north irish people need just called for a referendum and they can declare reunification when they like.

        alright then they should 100% do that. Although they can declare that they are leaving the UK. The Good Friday agreement can't make the south take them in which although they can't say it outright they would be pretty reluctant to do

        Having looked though it I'm pretty sure the Northern Ireland act just gives them the right to leave the UK as a fairly obvious consequence of Irish independence acts of UK parliament can't compell the ROI to do anything
