As shitty as a third Trump term would be, term limits are a fuck. They are mainly used to keep anyone vaguely to the left out of office for too long. FDR was too left for them (I know he's not actually left, but he was to them) so they enacted term limits to make sure it never happened again. Also, one of the bullshit attacks on Morales was that he was supposedly over his term limit.
