B. you have to moisten up the toothbrush so its not dry bristles, but if you apply water after toothpaste it just washes away a bunch of the toothpaste in my experience.

Never D - my mouth gets too dry too quickly. But aside from that, as long as water gets on the brush, I'm set. Took a long time to get into the habit of brushing regularly though.
