Ran across this video, I initially thought it was a quote from Mao or one of the Kim’s, but when she said that the opposite of capitalism wasn’t socialism or communism, that’s when the alarm bells started going off. Are bourgeois feminists STILL pushing the whole “socialism is for old white men” thing?
This canard is a huge telling-on-oneself deal.
You think we should focus more on BIPOC people and gender diversity? Me too.
You think that socialism is all a bunch of old white men though? It's almost as if you are preferencing white men over the socialists who are BIPOC and of diverse genders. That would mean that you're guilty of the problems you have convinced yourself that you are diagnosing in socialism.
Go read Luxemburg or Krupskaya or Kollontai or Ho Chi Minh or Leslie Feinberg or Mao or Huey P Newton or George Jackson or, of course, Fanon.
