I hate that Robocop, the movie about satirizing capitalism and the perversion of humanity in this system, is now just Duke Nukem.

Turning Veerhoven movies into garbage video games is a time-honored tradition. Any counter-examples are flukes to be enjoyed but never expected.

Just looked it up. Oh man, the character animations look awful. The game itself looks like a slog to play. Very disappointing.

As long as it has ED-209 in it. That is one of my favorite characters of all stage and film.

It's probably gonna have none of the satire and just be a big enemy you circle strafe around and shoot a lot.

Seems every popular anti-capitalist work in the West is doomed to fall to the blue curtain enjoyers.

the game looks so boring the only ED-209 featured in it will likely be erectile dysfunction for 209 days after playing that shit

the only good robocop game is the shitty GB one because of that opening theme that has no right to be so perfect https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGIKnn-COS4

The re-make a few years ago almost had something when the intro was a guy in a generic middle eastern country under american occupation sacrifices himself by holding a butterknife in front of an ed-209 until it guns him down in the street so they can get video to the world of what's happening under the us occupation, but after that very promising start it flops.
