This is a direct result of 3rd party apps for Reddit like Apollo and RIF shutting down on June 30 in response to the recent changes (like Reddit demanding $20m a year).

The mod says their work will be too hard w/o these apps as the official one is dogshit.

Sad day.

    You know they're probably really well placed to make Lemmy actually work. Make an /r/traa instance and even if only like 10% of their massive user base joined they would have a decent community.

    That place isn't really my thing, and too liberal to join here, but it would be cool to see a big network of mainstream queer Lemmy instances. A lot better than all my trans friends still on Twitter.
