Last night I had a dream where one could see thick veins on either side of my face, I believe roughly the diameter of a Ukrainian 1 kopek coin; and these veins were incredibly transparent, appearing almost like long tubular blood blisters that one could puncture with just one's fingernail. This was quite a frightening dream as the veins would sometimes tear slightly from an awkward movement, leading to me feeling blood dripping in my ear; then somehow this blood would pass through perforations in the eardrum and down the Eustachian tube such that I would taste blood, or blood would even drip from my nose. I had apparently learned to live with the occasional tear, but still to take great care that a more major rip of the veins would not occur, for that could be fatal. The pulsing of the veins and getting to clearly see the movement of the blood whenever I looked in the mirror was something I never got used to, however.
