Someone was saying earlier that because the word 'tankie' has been so misused, many people think it refers to like online nazbols and campist Russia Guys, and those people are generally super bigoted

Aww, thanks~ Literally just signed up... hopefully this will grow a bit more and I can wean myself off of Reddit. It would be really nice if there were something like Reddit Enhancement Suite that worked here. I'm really used to keyboard navigation.
this is an open source project, so ultimately its down to whoever adds to it. i think the devs are currently working on lemmy federation right now as the top priority (this site was made prior to that really being a thing), but accessibility features are very important, they took a lot of time out of their day to add pronouns next to everyones names for example (and banning the people that hated that feature).
really glad to see more trans people come to this site, it makes me a very happy camper :cat-trans:
