Just happened to me too when I "returned to the office". Get paxlovid as soon as you can. The sooner you get it, the better off you'll be. You can take tylenol to control the fever and it won't impact your recovery time.

I didn't have a problem with it. I tried to take it every 12 hours nearly exactly since it could cause liver damage and I didn't want to risk it. You can tell when it's not in your system because the fun metallic taste in your mouth goes away.

It took me about 5 hours of waiting time over 2 days just to see an internet doctor and pick up the prescription. I hope you feel better soon.
