What's your tofu press setup? I go cutting board, paper towels, tofu, paper towels, pan, then a bag of rice
I have a bourgeois press in a plastic box. So it's done rlly quickly and efficiently, and all fluid stays in the box
I should probably end up getting one of those, for how much i cook tofu
Except for silken tofu, I don't think I've ever bought anything other than extra firm.
i do plate, paper towels, tofu, paper towels, cast iron skillet - no need for additional weight, since the cast iron weighs enough on its own
i do end up with the paper towels soaked through though, so maybe i need to add more?
Plate or cutting board, tofu wrapped in paper towels, heavyish glass dish that I then reuse for marinade or coating or whatever
I do end up with the paper towels soaked through though, so maybe i need to add more?
If you're not spilling the liquid everywhere you're probably fine.
I used to do the same lol, except with a kettle full of water instead of rice. Now I use a tofu press. It’s the best thing to get.
