I cannot stress enough how much worse Biden was than Trump. He’s a genocidal maniac. I can’t write the things I think should happen to that man fedposting

Ending the public health emergency was easily the worst decision a president has made in my lifetime outside of maybe the invasion of Iraq

Brandon could stand in the middle of Fifth Ave. and shoot someone and the majority of the comments on r/politics would be “actually, shooting people is not that bad now”.

“Criticizing Biden for slaughtering that Girl Scout troop only serves to empower Republicans and is clearly a message being pushed by Russian misinformation bots.”

The fact that the qanon flavoured maga chuds are turning on trump because he rolled out the vaccine is so funny to me. The one thing that could be good and credited to trump is what is making them hate him

He wants credit for it so badly, too. But his base boos him if he tries to take credit for the vaccines, so he just lets it go unannounced, which is visually unbearable to him

He wants to have his cake and eat it. Operation Warp Speed was genuinely good policy, and it would be one hell of a legacy for any normal president, but he also has a base of Nurgle cultists.

I feel very on my own as an immunocompromised person. Hermit forever or risk death / worsening of my disease.

There's supposed to be an updated vaccine in september, but there are concerns that thevariants it targets will have been outcompeted before it gets distributed. It's all very frustrating. But work is still ongoing for a sterilizing vaccine, so hopefully this will actually end some day.

Yeah, there already appears to be a new variant emerging in Asia/Pacific that's more infectious, so I'm expecting the updated vaccine to be fairly out of date. It is what it is, I'm willing to be a hermit to protect myself, but it makes other people surprisingly angry that I'm still concerned for my own well-being. I was able to leverage the ADA to secure work from home at least.

After years on the fringe, anti-vaccine sentiment became the culture war at the exact wrong moment. And they roped in pretty much all medicinal/hygienic practices with it. It's maddening, frustrating, and incredibly sad.
