Wearing a mask and listening to loud as fuck TrueAnon episodes on my boombox as I strut through the mall to buy the new Zelda game and shoplift $20 worth of cliff bars.

Funny suddenly my area is covered in smoke and people found their masks again.

    Outside.

They walk inside and take them off. People are so goddamm selfish it's unreal

Found their masks again? I instantly saw 5x the amount of people wearing masks during this wildfire smoke thing than I ever did during the covid mask restrictions. If something is visible and can immediately tangibly affect them personally then they’re all for it, but helping anyone else? Get fucked

I've been getting giggles at work over the past few months. It just helps to remember what unempathetic libs they are. They all know I have a vulnerable person at home.

Covid has really hit home how terrible white people are. I'm literally sorry to all the non white leftists who probably had to listen to me say "well not all white people" or something similar.

I just went to the corner store, I was the only one wearing a mask but nobody gave me a second look at least. I feel like its just suburban dorks that really give the stink eye or confront people about why they're still wearing masks. Especially with all the wildfire smoke going around its like why the fuck aren't more people masking?

It's fine. Just a minor 10% increase in excess mortality in places that measure that sort of thing since the pandemic "ended" last year.

In my town they do wastewater monitoring and there is basically a new wave of covid every two months, and it's been like that for about a year, which seems to align with a lot of other places worldwide.

It's like getting a sunburn, only instead of your skin it's potentially all of your internal organs. I'm sure it will all work out because bad things aren't real.

I was looking at candles at the HomeGoods and a middle-aged guy looks at me and says "You know, you don't have to wear that anymore"

I just looked at him for a second before grunting out a "Whatever"

Does it ever occur to them that people wore them for a logical reason and not just because the law told them to?

Caring about other people? Sounds a lot like communism, bucko. Why don't you want the freedom to get disabled by long covid?

Why people hate masks again I think besides protecting from viruses they are cool facial expressions is overrated.
