We get boxes and boxes of these at work from the government (aged care home) and are encouraged to take them home for free because they'll probably expire otherwise.

I wish these scalpers a very eat shit and die.

Remember when you could get free PCR testing in AU? I remember getting in an argument with the person taking my swab because i had only given them my first initial instead of my full first name haha, yes

I've been told you can still get these free at libraries, worth having a look, theyre a 'bit' cheaper at chemist wearhouse too

There's a thing going around at work and I wanted to test.

Fucked up thing is that even if I could afford to test, there's no standards or quality assurance to ensure they work anymore.

It's like they just want to wait twenty years for legal firms to put together a class action suit for covid complications.

The liquid was dried up in all the home tests I had lol. I had to go to urgent care to get tested for a recent mystery illness. Absolutely surreal to be taking my mask off and have a nurse not wearing a mask swab my nostril while I have respiratory illness symptoms.

Germ Theory is just a "Theory", you know.

I haven't actually heard that yet, but I think we're getting there. agony

I knew healthcare workers were getting pretty blase with COVID, but for real I felt like I was crazy.

I bet. I run across a lot of posts from immunocompromised folks on my socials and the horrors they go through just to get care is wild. The world is losing its damned mind.

It’s genuinely so wild to me. Even looking past masking in public places, or any extra risk from covid compared to other respiratory illnesses, when you’re inches from the face of someone who 100% has a contagious respiratory illness wouldn’t you want to wear a mask???

apparently if you want a course of paxlovid in Ontario it's no longer supplied by the government so it's 1400$ and it's fairly hard to find

paying for a PCR test is ultimate cuckery. They give you false negatives 30% of the time

just assume you have it if you think you have it, because you probably do
